An essential tool when knitting sweaters and other garments is the Prym Abacus Knitting Calculator. With its help, needle thicknesses can be determined, stitches and rows counted and the desired number of stitches and rows for each desired garment size and thread thickness are converted. First of all, the number of stitches and rows per 10 cm is determined with the abacus. Then the slider of the knitting calculator can be set on a scale of 8 to 49 stitches per 10 cm to the determined value. Through a viewing window, the stitch and row numbers for lengths from 1 cm to 100 cm are directly displayed.
